WHO WE ARE
OUR DREAM & JOURNEY
S'moreology was created with the intent of bringing a fun childhood memory back to life using wholesome and hand crafted ingredients in a new and unique way. The concept was created by Los Angeles native & foodie Noelle Ramirez. Her experience in the food industry began in 2010 in the events & catering world as an event coordinator, creative designer and as the director of sales & marketing. Her knowledge of food trends, event logistics, digital design and leadership are the four building blocks she relies on to bring the joy of eating to life through creative food concepts.
Her passion for food met her entrepreneurial and creative spirit in February 2018 when the idea of S'moreology began to brew. Along with the support of her wife Amy, Noelle successfully created the brand, concept and a unique menu of over 10 s'more combinations. In May 2018, they launched S'moreology as a pop-up dessert stand in Los Angeles by offering delicious s'mores at outdoor cinema events such as Rooftop, Skyline, and Street Food Cinemas. The s'mores were a hit and gained media attention from KTLA 5 news and locale magazine.
As demand for catering services increased, Noelle introduced 4 unique catering packages to offer customers who had fallen in love with her artisanal treats. Noelle hand built custom wood bars and risers to display the s'mores beautifully. S'moreology has been honored to cater many intimate weddings, birthdays as well as large events for Netflix, CBS, NBC, FOX, and Viacom. In March of 2019, S'moreology was invited to join the infamous Smorgasburg in DTLA which draws over 10k every Sunday. S'moreology was a huge hit for Angelenos and tourists. In September 2019, S'moreology was given the opportunity to work with Capital One & Thrillist to promote the Capital One Savor Card with S'moreology featured as a dessert you have to try. In October 2019, S'moreology was interviewed and featured on Spectrum 1 News, "Running On Empty" with Jada Montemarano.
In March of 2020, Smorgasburg temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. S'moreology was able to pivot their business model by offering s'mores kits through local contactless deliveries and nationwide shipping. S'moreology will continue to stay strong, offering their artisan treat to enjoy from the comfort of your own home.
